clear spreadsheet in javascript

the spreadsheet object properties on my web page, are set by javascript
funtion (color, toolbar, columns, ......)

I need to clear the worksheet when user click a button, but I don't know how.
I tried:
mySpreadsheet.Worksheets("sheetname").Cells.Clear
or
mySpreadsheet.Worksheets(1).Cells.Clear
but they're not working.

try the clear() method of the active worksheet instead
