clearing Outlook 2007 address cache.

Hi,

In Outlook 2003, you delete teh NK2 file to empty the autocomplete address
cache. In Outlook 2007 how is this done as the NK2 file does not exist? I
have turned off the "suggest name"s"in the options, but I want to use the
suggest, but I want to clear all the suggesteds names currently in the cache
as some people change their email address, but the cache still has their old
one..

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff.

Open the folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook on either Windows 2000/XP or
Windows Vista and you'll see it.

Thanks for your replies. I did find the NK2 files, but only through a DOS
prompt. "dir *.nk2 /s" seemed the only way. In Explorer, they didn't show up,
and yes, I do have "show all files" switched on.

Thanks again.

Also have "Show extensions" enabled? Might be easier to recognize the file
then.

Are you displaying the file types or known files?
