ClearType Question?

I have turn off ClearType on Office 2007 but UI still looks terrible
because it uses fonts designed for ClearType.

Why doesn't Office 2007 use the system settings for UI fonts?

Is their a way to make Office 2007 respect the system settings for UI
fonts?

Some Office 2007 applications, ones that don't use the ribbon, appear
to respect the system settings for UI fonts.

Please give me back full control of my User Interface!!!
