Click Outlook Ribbon button from Excel

I have created a VSTO addin in outlook and a VSTO addin in Excel. When
a user clicks my button in Excel i would like the my custom button in
outlook to be clicked and then the action associated(launch custom
form etc...) with it to happen.
is there anyway to achieve this ?
