Clickable links to websites in Entourage 2004 Notes?

When including a website URL address in an Entourage 2004 Note, is there any
way of making it a clickable link?

If not, would it be a technically difficult feature to incorporate in a
future version of Office?

It's true that no hyperlink appears, which is surprising.

On the other hand, any URL anywhere in Entourage will open in your browser,
just like an underlined hyperlink, if you hold down the command (Apple) key
when you click anywhere in it. That includes in a note.

I have noticed this to be a problem in Entourage email messages. Is
there a way to type in urls and email addresses and have them
automatically convert to hyperlinks as they do in other MS programs?

When you send the e-mail, the links should become clickable. Check the
"Sent Items" folder yourself to check.

When you type them in, they don't appear active initially because it would
be easy to accidentally click the link while composing & editing the message
(I've done it enough myself in other applications like Word). With the
Command-click feature, you can force a URL to open and not have to worry
about accidentally opening it while composing the message.
