Clicking on hyperlinks in email always opens new IE page.

Since upgrading to MS Office 2003, whenever I click on a hyperlink in an
email in Outlook, a new window opens in Internet Explorer 6 SP2. The option
to 'reuse windows for launching shortcuts' in IE options is checked. With MS
Office XP open IE windows would be reused. I have looked around for an
option in Outlook, but it alludes me.

If I remember correctly, Microsoft changed this in Outlook 2003 and it
cannot be "changed back".

If Mozilla 1.7.12 is set as your default browser, clicking a hyperlink in an
Outlook 2003 email message will open the link in the active window or tab. I
have not tested this in Firefox or Netscape - but it may very well work in
those browsers as they are built on the same engine. The about:config page
may also be helpful (type about:config in the address window and press Enter).

Just another reason to ditch Internet Explorer...
