Clicking on Link to Highlight Hotspot on Imagemap?

Is it possible to have an 'index' on a page that contains a graphic that,
when clicked, will highlight a corresponding area on the graphic?

My intent is to have an index that relates to a building floor plan.
(network). When the user clicks on 'copy room' in the index, I would like
the copy room to be highlighted on the map.

Any and all help would be appreciated...even if you just point me in the
right direction for more information.

Hi,

There are several ways to accomplish all are tedious ;>)

1. Create different maps with each area highlighted then swap the image using a mouseover.
2. Create map overlays that just have the area outlined then make the overlay visible using a mouseover.
