Client error in Outlook for Project Add-in

I am getting the following error when a user tries to update tasks through
Outlook. I am unable to resolve by reinstalling and/or repairing as outlined
in the error message below. I can log in as another user on the same computer
and update tasks without issue. I can also go to another computer and
duplicate this error for the same user.
Any ideas?

An unexpected error has occured
Please reload the Project Add-in for Outlook by clicking Options on the
Tools menu. From the Other tab, click Advanced Options and then COM Add-ins.
On the COM Add-ins dialog, ensure that Microsoft Project Server Add-In is
checked, and then Click Ok. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need
to repair or reinstall the add-in via Add or Remove Programs from the Control
Panel

try reinstalling the Outlook addin and make sure there is a valid connection
string to the project server on the Project Tab of Outlook Options.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to reinstall and have a valid connection
to the server. Seems this problem is only happening for this user on any
machine (who will validate fine and can access through PWA)

Maybe their windows profile is corrupt. Can you log on the same machine,
create an outlook profile and connect to Project Server?
