Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Using Office 2008 on Mac 10.5.8.
Steps to reproduce problem: Download .cil file. In the past: Double click .cil file; a small window opens, has a title that says "Working..." and a message that says "Adding new clips to Clip Gallery. (This could take several minutes.)" It adds it to the Clip Art Library in under 10 seconds. I insert it into any office document.
Now: If I try to add clip art to Word, via "insert -> picture -> Clip Art", the gallery is a blank screen. If I double click on the .cil file, the same "Adding new clips" window opens. Only, several hours go by and nothing happens, and the loading animation does not move.
I did get a new mac recently but it has the same OS and software as the old one. My old one, though was not an Intel. Is there an issue with the Intel macs and Office 2008?
