OK, you don't tell us what OS you're using, nor what kind of machine.
But I will hazard a guess that you "migrated" from a PPC machine to an Intel
machine.
In which case, you have filled your shiny new Intel with code designed for
the PPC. If so, I am very surprised that clip-art is the only problem you
are experiencing. Sadly, "migrating" Office nearly always gets ugly: my
suggestion is "don't attempt it".
Bring your documents over, by all means, but install Office clean on the new
machine.
If I were you, I would run the Office Remover tool, then re-install from the
CD. Then re-apply all the service packs (you need to do this because the
old ones patched the PPC code, now you want to patch the Intel code).
After that, your machine should run a lot cleaner and you should not get any
further "issues".
Cheers
I just bought a new iMac last week and migrated all software from the old to
new machine. Today I am unable to get the clip art function in Word to work.
It ties to open but the screen is gray and huge, tending to freeze word and
the machine. Any suggestions?
