Clip Art won't insert

W

WCA

We got all new computers in the lab this summer with
Office XP preloaded from the factory through a site
license. I have a media disk and have put it on a couple
machines, but no machines will insert the clip art in the
gallery. (The clips won't copy and paste either). Anytime
we want clip art, we have to go to the Clips Online to
get them and download them. Is there something I've
forgotten?

Thanks in advance.

What happens when you try to insert?

I have installed in on the machine, but the clip art
still will not insert w/o the CD actually being in the CD
drive.

Can I put it directly on the server and have all the
computers access it from the server instead of taking the
hard drive space on each workstation?

Yes, there's an undocumented installation option that allows this.
Copy the Content CD to the network share.
2> On the client machines, run the command:

msiexec /I \\yournetworkshare\cntcd3\cag.msi
<file://\\yournetworkshare\cntcd3\cag.msi> ADDSOURCE=ALL /qb

Substitute the appropriate path to cag.msi on the network, of course. The
setup runs pretty quickly.
