Clip Gallery won't open on Mac

I am running Mac OS 9.2.1
Office 2001

I have used Clip Gallery several times and all of a sudden it won't
open. I've tried Word, Excel and PowePoint. I go to Insert then
Picture then Clip Art and the screen flashes like it is loading but
immediately quits. I have installed the 9.0.4 update but that didn't
help. I've reinstalled Clip Gallery and restarted my computer and it
still won't work.

Any ideas?

Try these, with all Office applications closed:

1) open the System Folderreferences:Microsoft folder and delete
the Clip Gallery Preferences

2) Delete the Clip Gallery User Database
in the Microsoft Office 2001:Clipartersonal folder. Then restart
your machine and rebuild the desktop.
