Clip Organizer

I deleted a portfolio of JPG files recently. Now when I use Insert Clip Art,
it still has their titles in memory. I can't delete them in Clip Organizer
because the files are not there anymore. How do I get Clip Organizer to
refresh itself?

Hi Norb,

You may want to try the 'Compact' choice in the Tools menu of the Clip Organizer when you start it from
Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office=Microsoft Office tools.

That utility may call the repair utility as well, so have your Office CDs available when you start.

The easiest way to rid yourself of unwanted thumbnails is to rename the
Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old.

It is in a folder similar to this (hidden)
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer
or if you are using Vista
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer

All your custom keywords will be lost using this method, but it will refresh
your Organizer.
