Clipart can't be seen & wrapping not working

I've used clipart & screen prints 4-ever! Suddenly, when I insert an image
(clipart or screenprint) I cannot see it - the box shows up, but no picture.
Also, the picture toolbar doesn't pop up (as it always did) and even when I
bring it up - Text Wrapping is NOT an option.
I've looked at Options / Tools / View to see if I turned something off but I
can't find the answer!

Previous answers (clear cache) to similar questions doesn't help.
Anyone know what I've done? I'm NOT a novice user - but I'm stumped!
