clipart crashes word

I am using word 2003 and have a small problem that i hope someone can
help me with.
When i insert clipart a document and scroll down screen or minimise the
document it will disapear. This is not the problem as i know it is a
known problem with word. My problem starts when i copy the clipart in
the same document and try to print the document as it causes the task
bar to flash and word to hang. Please help.
if it helps I am running office 2003 and windows xp with all lastest
updates. The machine is a p4 2.8ghz with a 1gb ram, 80gb hdd with a
least 60Gb free.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office
Plugin that comes with it (but don't disable Norton AutoProtect). See

thanks but i'm not using norton i'm using mcafee enterprise if that
makes any difference

Slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder,
settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab. If this works you need to
upgrade your video/graphics driver from the manufacturer's web site.

thanks i have done that and it still happens its looking like i might
have to reinstall office i dont want to but it looks like the choice i
have. unless some one can tell me different

i've sorted it now i re-installed my graphic card drivers.
