clipart downloads

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I cannot download clipart from microsoft online using either safari or firefox mozilla. I haven't found an answer that would cover problems with both browsers. Can anyone help?

When I get to the command to 'download now' - I click, it appears to be downloading, but what appears is text gibberish instead of an image.

If you'd take a minute to fully describe exactly what the situation is
perhaps someone can help. Tossing out these vague one-liners provides
nothing for anyone to go on...

When & Where does this 'gibberish' appear?
Does your browser window display this 'gibberish'?
Does a dialog box open containing the 'gibberish'?
If the file downloads, what is the filename extension?
Does the file download & you try to open it with some program which displays
it as 'gibberish'?
