clipart in Publisher 2003 slow to load

I have a user that is complaining that the clip art
gallery takes several minutes to load on her new Pentium 4
machine with Office 2003 installed.

She is creating newsletters using Publisher 2003.

Any help would be appreciated!

Clip art/media was not included as an install in Office 2003. The system is accessing this online, short of what is stored locally. That is the reason for the delay in loading
You can install clip art/media files from a previous version by doing a custom install, or from a clip art/ media disk from Publisher XP, or any Office clip art disk. Would be best to use the most recent Office version to 2003.

the "Media Content" CD from Office XP...will this do the

It will get you the cilp/media from XP version of Office.
You can use this as your local base files and add from the Office online site.
It should load these files first in Publisher, but it's

still going to search online...

You can try this if you do not want Publisher to search online
Publisher Help/select online content settings/in window/deselect
Search online content when connected.
