clipart not behaving

Please tell me where my clipart is SUPPOSED to be.

When I download it from the microsoft website, it now goes into my "downloads" file as groupings. When I click on it to open it (import it) I cannot find it again.
I am guessing that the keywords disappear so I cannot find anything by keywords. I created a "personal" file floder in the clipart folder, but it does not show up when I open up clipart.

Did I totally mess up?
Thanks

Hello ________ -

*Where* the ClipArt is really doesn't make much difference because it's
stored in such a way that you can only access but not really reorganize the
individual pieces. Organization is done via the ClipArt Gallery application
which operates within the Office programs. Creating a folder in the Clipart
folder serves no purpose - the app won't recognize it... But this is how
the installation "should" work:)

Once the download is complete you will have a file with a .cil extension
stored in whatever location you have set for your browser. When you
double-click that file the items in it will be added to the ClipArt Gallery
app for you [*]. The Gallery window should open showing the items that have
been added in the Favorites category. Unfortunately, as you noted, the
keywords & category assignments as shown on the web site are not retained.

However, in the Gallery you can access the Properties of each image, assign
it to whatever categories you wish, create new categories, and associate the
images with any keyword of your choice.

[*] If the file doesn't launch the Gallery when dbl-clicked,
Control/right-Click it, choose Open With & select MS Clip Gallery (12.0.0).
