Clipart/photos not showing

When I copy & paste cleiart or photo's into word 2003, some times it will
show up and sometime it will not. It always prints out but againd does not
always show up on the page. I can cleck on the spot on the page where I
pasted it and an outlined box appears and sometime it will show up and
sometime it will not. I can scroll down and up a page and periodocally it
will show up and sometime not??? any ieas? I am runing 2.8 gig processor
and 1.5 gig ram so I know I have enough "umph" to power it.
