clipart won't move

Using Word 2002, my clipart will only attach itself to the right or left
margins, and I can't place it where I want. The object is formatted to Square
or Tight, not in-line with text. I used the drag-and-drop method to insert
the clipart from the listing. It is not in any kind of a text box. I do have
resize handles and can resize the object, just not place it freely on the
page. Could you please advise me on other options of which I am not aware? (A
previous post on 4-7-05 was not able to answer this question and I am
continuing to have this same problem with students I am trying to help. I
don't know what else to look for.) Thank you for your help.

Try going into the Format Picture window and look under the Layout section,
set the alignment bullet to Other and then click the Advanced button to see
if there's anything there that might be affecting it.
