Clipboard fails

Hey all
I'm using ms office 2003 and for some reason when I use the copy/paster
function I get an error saying that Excel cannot open the clipboard and then
the only thing here is to click ok. After this error has come it effects all
programs on the machine.
When The problem arises it effects word as well. And the error sometimes
also comes in word. If I log of the pc and on again the problem is gone!!!

Can anyone please help me

malware can cause a problem like that, has the PC been checked by
something like Adaware SE or Spybot S&D (both are free for home user).

Hey Bob, This is a completly new installation on the machine!
I don't think that is the problem, it's on a company network and behind
serveral firewalls.

Have you tried clearing the entire clipboard contents? Have you tried
Help, Detect and Repair yet?

Hey bob, I have tried clearing the entire clipboard, if I look in it through
word it is already empty. I have not yet tried a repair!

What other "addins" are applied to the Office programs? Adobe, or other?

Ok, for the record. Does this happen Every time you copy/paste in Excel?
And only caused by Excel and never caused by any other application?
