Clipboard format

When I copy something onto the clipboard and use the clipboard to insert the
copied item, the font size changes from 12pt to 10pt. The source text is
12pt, so I don't know where the 10pt comes from and I can't seem to change
it. Of cource I can use the paste option, but that will take me a few more
clicks and then the advantage of the clipboard is lost. I should add that
when I use Ctrl+v, it gives me the correct font size.

You copy from What? And you copy to Where? Best guess at this point is
you are pasting into a 10pt formatted area.
