clipboard formats

We have a product that processes data on the clipboard. We currently look only for RTF and TEXT. What, if any, other formats do Word 2004 and Word 2008 put on the clipboard, and read from the clipboard.

Our processing of RTF does not seem to work correctly in Word 2008, and it is fine in Word 2004.

You should be looking for XML and HTML as well.

What is on the clipboard varies according to what the user has copied. It
can be any of the formats supported in Word's "Enable" window under File
Open, or any of the graphics formats that it handles.

Word 2008 would have gone up a level in the RTF specification to support the
new objects it is capable of creating (actually, it probably went up TWO
levels, since it was one behind...)

Hope this helps
