Clipboard Items Not Visible

Help! I accidentally cut some very important information from my document.
I'm hoping it was saved to the clipboard. The clipboard status is telling me
there is 1 of 24 items in it, however I can only see 1 item. Is there any
way to make the other 23 items appear?

When it says "1 of 24", what it means is that 1 position out of 24 available
is filled, so there aren't 23 other items.

The clipboard is Office-wide and is shared across all open office
applications - only being deleted when all office applications are closed.
Providing at least one Office application has remained open your Office
clipboard should have been maintained.

If you have cut your text it should be the one item. If it isn't I'm not
quite sure what you have done but can you undo the cutting - or just not
save the edited document (or save it as a different name) so that you still
have the original? Or have you already saved it and hoping you can recover
via the clipboard?
