clipboard viewer for windows 98?

I have been having trouble with my computer resources being dangerously low.
I think there may be a large clipboard file that is hanging up my machine.
How do I get rid of it if I can't open my word program? I have windows 98 OS.

reasons for encountering resource errors:

Start with the Normal.dot section first since Nimda isn't as big of a
threat these days as it was when the article was written.

I'm not sure what you mean by large clipboard file since the Windows
Clipboard contents are erased when shut down the computer.

Nope, it's psychology.

Even though English is my mother tongue it doesn't I can type
