Anybody know about a Clipper ODBC Driver I can find in a

Clipper files are standard DBF files. You can use the DBIV
data type to link to them. The only thing is that clipper
NTX indexes aren't supported.

Hello,

My problem is that there is something strange in my dbf
file (it is an existing file). One of the fields there is
a very long char field (1456). If I link the file using
jet dBase definition, there is a problem with the data in
the fields following this field (they seem to be empty).
That is why I thought about a link via ODBC driver.
Ideas ?

The field that is the problem is probably a memo field.
Memo fields don't translate well from system to system.
Did you try using dBase III or FoxPro as the file type?

Hi Scott,
Yes I have. Using dbfUtil it seems that it is a very long
char field.
Also, I have tested DataDirect ODBC Driver and it seem to
be working, but I can't afford it. (pricing is for
enterprises, not for me)

Thanks
Rami
