Clipping content loses formatting

When I clip to ON (from Firefox, using the Firefox extension), I am losing
the basic formatting. There are no longer indent-tabs at the beginning of
paragraphs and there are no blank lines between paragraphs, so text is
basically run together. Is there a way to fix this?

I should clarify that I am using ON 2007.

This is a known issue, and unfortunately I'm not aware of a way to fix it,
although there is an alternative approach you could try - take a screen
clipping instead of copy-pasting the text. Press Windows key-S and then drag
out a rectangle around the portion of the page you want. This way is totally
WYSIWYG, but the result is a picture instead of text. (The picture is
searchable via OCR and you can right-click to copy-paste all the recognized
text in it to the clipboard, but there's no way to select just a portion of
the text.)

The reason for this problem is that OneNote does its best to preserve
formatting when inputting HTML but often formatting like this derives from
style sheets, which OneNote doesn't know about.
