clock and date have to be re-set constantly?

I have to change the date everytime I turn on my laptop even though I keep
the power on. Also the clock doesn't keep time, I need to keep correcting it
every 10 minutes or so...what can I do about this.

Not an Office issue. Try asking your laptop's manufacturer.

Likely the clock has it's own battery and that battery needs to be
replaced.

Sounds like a problem with your laptop's clock chip - you should
probably contact the manufacturer of the laptop.
