Clock Countdown

I'm looking for a way to insert a clock/countdown into a
PPT presentation. (On a slide) We will be doing a
presentation and thought it would be a good idea to have
a clock on the slide counting down during breaks,
lunches, small group break-outs, etc. We'll be
projecting the presentation up on a screen. So, for
example, if we tell participants to take a 5-minute
break, I want it to countdown from 5 minutes down to 0 so
everyone knows when the break is over. Is this possible?

There are several VB scripting solutions, but the easiest (though not
accurate down to the second depending on the computer and what it is
running) is to create a series of slides and set the transition to
automatically advance.

As Example:
Create 5 slides, one the first in bold text say something like "Please
Return From Break in 5:00 minutes" then the next slide replaces the 5:00
with 4:00, then 3:00, 2:00, 1:00. Now select all five slides in Slide Sorter
View and set the transition to automatic after 60 seconds. Done.

....is the best. For what it is worth, I agree that this
would be the simplest solution to implement..
