Close Button "X" on upper right hand corner of form

Hello all,

I have a question. Sometimes when I open a form using VBA code and then
type in "docmd.maximize" to maximize the form screen -- sometimes the "X"
disappears. Does anyone know why this happens AND how to fix it?

Do you have an application menu bar showing at the time? That is where the
close, restore, maximize. and minimize go when you maximize an object. If
you have zero menu bars displayed then there is no place for those to
appear.

Thanks for the response. The menu bar IS being displayed. The problem is
that the restore button for the window and the minimize is displayed and it's
like the close button is "cut off" on the side of the screen sometimes when
the window is maximized. what would cause that problem adn how do you fix it?
