close excel workbook with PPT

Hello,

does anybody know how to close an excel workbook with PPT?
I already figured out how to open it, but I have know idea
how to close it. I tried

..close

but it doesn't support that method.

daMike,
..close should work if you have a the correct workbook referenced
somewhere in that appropriate section of code. Post the bit of code
that opens the workbook and post the bit of code that you are using to
try to close it. I'd bet you are not correctly referencing the XL
application or the workbook.
