Close or Start Over error

I have created a number of Infopath templates that submit to a SharePoint
site. A few users are getting errors when submitting telling them to contact
the administrator and only giving the options to 'Close' or 'Start Over' and
therefore they lose all content.
I suspect this may be due to having the templates open for too long?

You could try tweaking the session and form session state timeout values in
Central Admin (Office SharePoint Server Shared Services > Configure session
state AND InfoPath Forms Services > Configure InfoPath Forms Services).
