close original message on reply?

Email Client: imap

I'm trying to set up Entourage to automatically close open message on reply...the way imail, Outlook, etc do things.
The last posting I saw from this was from July...has there been a resolution to this?

Such a feature is not available in Entourage. If this is a feature you want,
please suggest it to Microsoft via the Help menu.

Also consider using the Preview Pane to manage your mail.

That's what I figured. I have already mailed Microsoft via the help menu-
For some reason I hate the preview pane...always have. I just get far too many emails that I have no interest in reading.
