Close print preview button shortcut not working?

Has anyone notice that the red close button, in print preview, does not
close with a command W? You need to click it with mouse.
It's a little thing, but annoying. Curious if I'm only one with this
problem. Thanks.

Doesn't seem consistent, but try CMD-. or CMD-c instead.

Don't understand JE, to close window it's apple key and W (command W) what
are you suggesting? Thanks.

What I suggested is using CMD-. or CMD-c to close the print preview
window.

The command- or dash, did not work, but the command c did
Which is strange, because command c I usually use to copy stuff.

The

"CMD-."

was meant to mean the Command and period keys.
