Close queries after open

I have a macro that runs a dozen queries of various types. It seems that
when the macro is complete, the screen is littered with datasheet views of
any of the queries that were select queries required by various update and
make table queries. Hope can I prevent these from opening on the screen or
at least closing when they are not needed?

Why do you open these other queries? If you run a maketable query, it will
"run" whichever queries it needs on its own..you don't need to open those
queries for it.
