opening a closed one note notebook

I right clicked a few of the note books and closed them (I did not choose
DELETE).
Now I cannot find them. Could some one please tell me how to open these
books again there is thousands of hours of work in approx 5 notebooks. Any
help would be appreciated.
thanks

Look in the OneNote Notebooks folder which is a sub-folder of the
(My)Documents folder.

Per default the ON notebook files are stored in the hierarchy if "My
Documents".

The easiest way to re-open the closed files would be just check the list
of the last opened files in the "File"-menu.
Should the files in question not appear there, just use "File | Open |
Notebook" and navigate to the location where the files are stored.

In case you might have made some changes to the default settings and can
not find where the notebook files are sitting:
a) search for "*.one";
b) from the main menu open "Tools | Options" and look for the location
where the notebooks are stored.
