I often open an Excel file just to look at the data in the file and do NOT
alter the data or settings at all. Yet, when I click on the Close button, I
always get a message asking me iif I want to save the changes I have made,
when (as I said) I have not made any changes. This is irritating rather than
troublesome, but does anyone have an idea how tro stop it happening please? I
previously had this same problem with XP Excel 2002 when I was running
Windows 98SE. I never solved that and just put up with it. Does anyone else
suffer from this same problem?
