Closing Form Without Opening Next Item

I have a custom contact form that is published to a public
folder. There are two buttons on the form, on of which
deletes and the other sends the form via email then closes
the form. Whenever either button is clicked and the form
leaves the screen, the item below is automatically opened.

There is a setting to control this behavior for emails
that are deleted, but that setting has no effect on the
contacts apparently. Does anyone know how to get the
contact item to be deleted without automatically opening
the next item?

Under Tools/Options/Preferences/Email Options there's a
box that says: "AFTER MOVING OR DELETING AN OPEN ITEM" If
you set this to "return to the inbox" it will change the
behavior throughout Outlook. At least this is how it
works on outlook 2000...
