Closing Outlook 2003

T

Tim

I just installed Office 2003 and am using Windows XP.
When I close Outlook the icon remains in the task bar and
I can not reopen it without rebooting the compter to
clear it. I tried running detect and repair but no joy.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks

Do you have a PDA? If so undock your PDA before you close Outlook. If you
don't have a PDA, do you have any add-ins for Outlook? Are you leaving Word
open and trying to shut down Outlook?

I had Winfax 10.1 installed. Uninstalling it cured Outlook.
