Closing Outlook cause an invalid page fault in module .....

After a network update, closing Outlook causes an error
message. "Outlook caused an invalid page fault in module
<unknown> at 0000:00ff16el". The operating system is
Windows 98se. I ran the repair tools in Outlook 2002 and
Microsoft Office 2002 with the results. I also downloaded
the updates for Outlook and Office again with the same
results. Any assistance or help would be appreciated !
