closing pages / losing web site

T

threademporium

I am trying to figure a way of setting up front page to open pictures from
thumbnail view in a new browser window or pop up. Currently pictures are
opening in the same browser window there fore requiring visitors to use the
browswer back button to exit from the picture page. Currently I am losing
visitors because when they close the picture ( using the XS in the top right
corner) they also exit from the complete web site. I would like them to close
the picture and return to the page that had the originating picture thumbnail.

Thank you

Click the X at the top right of the page.
Not the X at the top of the FP Toolbar, the X for the page.

inSorry if I wasn't clear, but after I publish my website, I go to the
remote website and open an Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Document that I have put
it in. When I close the PDF file with the X in the corner, the FrontPage
program closes and does not default to where I was orginally on. How do I
program this? Thanks.

In the hyperlink to the PDF set the hyperlink to open in a new window.

Right click the link, select Hyperlink Properties, click the Target Frame
button and select New Window.
Click OK.
Save
Publish the page.

Still not clear. Are you going to the remote web site and opening it in FP
before opening the pdf? If so, please explain why.
