Closing secondary PST file

Hi,
I am running MS Outlook 2003 on XP.
I am getting the error: The operation failed. An object cannot be found.
I have no access to this PST but I am unable to CLOSE it.
Please help.

In my experience, this happens whenever your Outlook software was connected to an archive PST file that is no longer accessible because it's been moved, or your drive-mapping / network config has changed.

Example, if a tech person with a different level of access logs into your maching and connects to his own PST files in a location that you don't have access to - you'll get this message.

If possible, re-gain access to the PST and then manually exit from it while Outlook is open. Next time, Outlook won't look for that PST.
