Closing Shapes

I have a converted AutoCad drawing into Visio 2003 Pro. I want to apply
fills to objects which requires the shapes to be closed in Visio. The shapes
are closed in AutoCad. For some reason the fills won't apply in Visio so I
assume the shapes are not closed (although they appear to be). What is the
easiest way to close the Visio shapes?
