Closing Word I get this message: run-time error 91 ...also pointer

I got a new hard drive for my Dell latitude laptop and reloaded Win XP (and
updates, Service pack) and Office XP 2002 (and all updates) and reloaded my
documents and settings. Now when I use Word I have two problems.

1) The mouse pointer disappears when I change the text. The longer I work
on the document the longer the disappearing periods seem to get - like the
program is thinking about all the changes and can't do much else. I have to
move the mouse to the border to get the pointer to reappear quickly,
otherwise wait.

2) When I close word I get the following message: Run-time error 91
Object variable or With block variable not set.

I reloaded everything a second time with the same problem.

What do I do next?

This sounds like a graphics driver issue. Check to see if there is a newer
updated driver at the Dell support site.
