Closing word

User 1: (admin) Word closes normally.
User 2: gets error message '..cannot save or create this file.....' (all
files have been closed)
clicking ok produces 'save as' box
clicking cancel produces message 'changes have been made to the global
template (no they haven't) do you want to save?'
clicking cancel closes word.

How can user 2 get Word to close normally?

How can user 2 get Word to close normally?

I the user 2's Normal.dot template (and/or the START folder) in a folder
where he has no write permissions?
