Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange When I try to delete an attachment in a new mail, and use the standard Apple CMD + Backspace, my complete mail (sometimes a fruit of half an hour typing) dissapears.
Is this a feature or a bug....

I have the same experience using Entourage. I often mistakenly delete
my draft email by pressing the CMD+Delete keys when actually mean to
press Function+Delete to perform a forward moving character deletion.
It's very frustrating when this happens since, I lose all the work
I've done in my draft email. I try to remember to press CMD+S to save
my work occasionally, so that if this does accidentally happen, I
don't lose everything I've typed already.

Use Command-Z to undo. Use the Entourage shortcut to delete.

This does not solve the problem.
If it is in the text you might find back your message in the dustbin
If you do cmd+Backspace with an attachment your total message is gone....
