CMYK images in Word 2004/Tiger

I'm running Word 2004 on Tiger. When I place a CMYK JPG into Word, all
the colors are screwed up. When I place a CMYK EPS into Word, the image
looks fine when its "selected" (highlighted with the cursor), but it
turns gray as soon as I click off it.

I know screens and programs want RGB, but printers want CMYK. I never
had this problem when placing CMYK JPG or EPS images in Office
v.X/Panther.

Any one else having this problem or have a suggestion?
