Co-existing Project Server 2003 and 2007

Has anyone successfully installed Project Server 2007 onto the same physical
box as an existing Project Server 2003 instance? (Our DB server is a
separate box). Our migration plan calls for this to be done, but our team
has had some issues getting PWA to function.

After the install, 2003 still works, and the Central Administration site is
up, but not PWA. Any thoughts?

HI CraigO,

generally yes. there are some things that you will need to consider (
seperate web sites for the applications and a seperate application pool).
Also I would certainly test this set up before applying it to your production
server.

I can imagine that you may get into some problems with the clients installed
on the same PC. I am not sure if the 2 Project clients ( 03 and 07 ) get
confused with the global template. ( I know on one of my installations that
was the case). What I would do is test this thoroughly before deploying.

Hope this helps
