Code error 3011

My client is getting the following message when opening a database

"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object [Databases]. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly.

I think I have come across this one before but can't for the life of me remember what caused it. It must be due to a funny on her machine because others in her workgroup are OK and her copy was OK when she closed down last week. Must be something to do the the VBA library

Help!

Any solutions gratefully received.

"Databases" is the name of a system-controlled container within the
database file. So my guess is, your database has been corrupted.

You say that it was OK "when she closed down last time", but it's
really not possible to be sure of that. Haven't you ever used your PC,
had no problems, closed it down normally, then found that it would not
boot the next time?

Try restoring your database from the last backup.

HTH,
TC
