Code for Open and Close Dialog Boxes

I am trying to obtain correct code to give users the
ability to choose any file within their file directory. I
have looked at the various code that is in the Newsgroups,
but none seem to work.

If anyone knows the "whereabouts" of such code, would you
please let me know.

Yes, I read that, but I and most of my users are using
Access 2002.

In Access 2000, you can use a Microsoft CommonDialog

Control (you may need to add it to your toolbox).

While you can use the Common Dialog control, it tends to be very finicky:
versioning problems are extremely common. The code above is reasonably
bullet-proof.
